NEW: Advisory Evacuation Area

The City of Santa Rosa is issuing an ADVISORY evacuation area for northeast Santa Rosa. This is a VOLUNTARY evacuation as the fire is not an imminent threat, but the conditions may change quickly. Please monitor the weather and stay alert.

The advisory evacuation area spans from:
• Mendocino Ave. at Lomitas Ave. spanning south and east from Franklin Ave. (at Chanate Rd.) east to the city limits including Los Alamos Rd., Melita Rd. and Montana Rd.
• Then from Chanate Rd. south to 4th St/Highway 12.

If you choose to evacuate at this early opportunity, be sure to pack necessities such as: medications, identification and insurance paperwork, clothing and personal items.

Time permitting, please turn off your home gas and water lines before evacuating.

The curfew will not be observed within this advisory evacuation area.
